I've decided to take a month long break

I've been a busy bee and have been lazy about taking pictures. Give me a break!

Onward, Upward, Psyched Ward

Look, Buster, I know how you feel. The curse of the guilty, restless, dawdling student is something I'm closely familiar with. I'm procrastinating a final paper right now! But, without doubt, I will press on. Eventually. Only four more days of papers and repentance. There's plenty to look forward to...

I've got a blessed mandatory break on Tuesday evening. The Marks Sisters are performing as a special birthday intermission at Swing 46, which our friend Sarah arranged for one of her best gals. It's $12 admission, which includes a swing dance lesson and a live swing band, plus us! Do you really need an excuse to have such swanky fun in the middle of the week?

Thursday is my last day of my first year of college. I'm a bit behind, but I need to be excited, so I'm having a rooftop evening summer celebration at my house. Summer smiles and attitudes dudes! We're celebrating all of my peers graduating on time. We're celebrating my fellow freshman*. We're celebrating everyone able to enjoy summer, whether school's out for a few months, a few weeks, or FOREVER.

I live in Greenpoint, off of the Greenpoint stop, on Green st. Come by and enjoy the sunset!

*If moving to a new city or going to a new school in untimely fashions have taught me anything, it's that I will always find people I will relate to and learn from if I am considerate and patient. Life (and living it with other people) seems more manageable as I ease into myself, refine the list qualities I appreciate in good friends, try to cultivate those qualities in myself, and move through time more boldly.
